The datasets in this filder are all taken by varying the laser wavelength and recording the intensity of the SHG at each point. At each point we also apply microwave field at a given frequency.

The frequency of the microwave field is stored in the meta data of each file (first row).
there are rouhgly four files for each microwave frequency.
A few of the scan have modehops. These are obvious when there are large gaps in the wavelengths recorded.

Each file named "AM04_norm*.csv" is organised in 5 columns:
wavelength (nm),
photon counts on,
photon counts off,
wavelength SE,
power (mW)

The wavelgnth is the wavelength of the infrared excitation laser (divide by 2 to get wavelgnth of SHG).
wavelength SE is the standard error of the wavelngth readings.

the data is processed as follows:
files are grouped into scans at the same microwave frequency.
data is filtered so that points with power variation of more than 1% and wavelength SE of more than 0.0005 nm are discarded. this removes points where the laser was multimode.
wavelength column is converted to energy (of the SHG emission) in electron volts
the data is binned in the energy axis into bins of 0.0001 eV.
For the I_off data in Fig.2(c)(i) the avergae of the off data at all the microwave frequencies is taken.
For the I_on data the files at microwave frequency = 19.5 GHz is used. (also used for 2(c)(ii))
